Each Armadillo Horse Rug have 10 deep penetrating unipolar magnets which are removable with the attached  velcro enabling you to apply the magnotherapy directly onto the horse's problem area. This is great to help reduce healing time.

The Armadillo Horse rug front is anti rub, made from a strong construction, has a fillet string and is fully washable. Available in 7 sizes with 3inch increments giving a choice of rugs from 5 foot 6 inch through to 7 foot.

Armadillo rugs have been used in research at Writtle College. The 2 images above were taken after the removal of a rug after 4 hours. The second image clearly shows how the body temp can be increased with magnets  (in this test these were placed across the hind quarter).  A marked increase in temperature across the hindquarter indicates a dramatic increase in circulation. Armadillo Horse Rug is the only one where the position of magnets may be moved to the exact site of injury.
